iPulse delivers short, carefully controlled, intense bursts of light energy. This energy is absorbed by the pigmented hair shaft and converted into heat. The heat disables the hair follicle preventing it from growing.
This intense pulsed light can therefore be used to provide safe and effective permanent hair reduction.
Skin Rejuvenation
Through the work carried out by CyDen on hair and on port wine blemish removal, it was discovered that, by altering the length and intensity of the light pulses, a patient’s skin became plumper and softer when exposed to CyDen’s IPL light.

Research carried out by CyDen’s team of experts revealed how light pulses can have a positive effect on skin blemishes, with Acne showing promising improvements over a short period of time when exposed to carefully managed pulses of light.
The team at CyDen is now developing a commercial application for skin blemishes.
