CyDen Institute of Light Therapy

CILT was founded by some of world’s leading figures in light technology, spearheaded by Professor Marc Clement, who has a world class reputation in cosmetic and medical light therapy and is widely regarded as the “father” of the light-based therapy industry.
 
Based in Swansea University’s Institute of Life Science, Marc Clement leads CILT and undertakes research to create the next generation of IPL technology and devices.
 
CyDen, through CILT, is actively developing technology to address many potentially attractive markets all of which require appropriate scientific evidence.
 
Through its collaboration with the local scientific communities at Swansea University and Swansea Metropolitan University, over the last six years, CILT has demonstrated the value of successful academic collaboration – extending the frontiers of light therapy. The company has also taken part in projects with selected universities throughout the UK and abroad.
